G’day and welcome DownUnder!

This October will see the 8th edition of the 70 Plus Football World Cup take place at Redlands FC, in the beautiful beachside township of Cleveland, in sunny Queensland, Australia.

It will be played over 5 days – Monday 12th October to Friday 16th October - with four days of games and a rest day in the middle. Games will be played on Monday and Tuesday, then we have a rest day on the Wednesday for relaxing, recuperation or sightseeing. Games will recommence on Thursday with the final day’s play on Friday.

After the games are played, and the champions decided, there’ll be a special World Cup Banquet on Friday night at the impressive Sirromet Winery. Apart from the football itself, this will be a real highlight of your trip DownUnder.

The tournament will feature three age groups: Over 70’s, over 75’s and Over 80’s.
